
The “What’s Wrong with a Paw?” project, launched to draw attention to the living conditions of street animals and raise awareness, brought the art world together. A total of 32 renowned artists came together for a special song created for our furry friends.
The “What’s Wrong with a Paw?” project, launched to give a voice to our friends on the street, has generated a huge response. For the meaningful song created as part of the project, 32 figures from the music and arts world entered the studio and stepped up to the microphone.
Heartwarming Scenes from SheltersThe project’s promotional video featured heartwarming scenes of dogs and cats struggling to survive in shelters. The plight of these animals—in need of care, injured, and longing for love—deeply moved viewers. The footage also highlighted the warm bonds between shelter volunteers and the animals, as well as the support provided to them.

“Our Goal Is to Raise Awareness”In a press statement, the project’s founder, Captain Mustafa Can, highlighted the challenges faced by stray animals. Can said, “We embarked on this journey to be the voice of our silent friends. With the support of 32 talented artists, we aim to foster greater sensitivity within society.”
Famous actor Umut Oğuz was also among those supporting the project. In a statement to the media, Oğuz urged everyone to be more mindful of this issue and to support shelters to the best of their ability.
The Social Responsibility Campaign’s“What’s Wrong with a Paw?” project aims to go beyond being just a song and evolve into a large-scale aid and awareness movement for street animals. This powerful choir, formed by artists coming together, sends the message to all of Turkey that “They, too, have a right to love and protection.”
